Got my new camera the other day (nikon D3000) so thought I'd have a quick play with it straight out the box :D Annoyed the animals for a while and these are my favourites although I realise there's a lot wrong with them they were my first shots. Now I might go learn how to use the camera properly and improve lol!

Tried adding direct URL's but couldn't make the photos the right size for the forum. Nightmare!
 
I prefer the cat shot to the dog, as I can see the majority of the cats heads, whereas the dogs is out of shot.

WIth th ecat, I would have preferd to have a larger peice of grass to the left where he was looking.
