My wife is unfortunately being made redundant soon and the company she works for have offered her £2500 towards re training.The budget also included any equipment she may need.

She has always taken a keen interest in my photography and wants to help me by doing a course and getting herself some equipment.

What she wants is to do a course on basic photography which would include some equipment at the end of it.I know there are many training packages out there that offer equipment in with the course cost..just not sure there are any for photography.

Any help would be apprciated

just get a receipt from a specialist camera shop for some training, and buy what you like ;)

i did this for 'company paid' golf lessons and spent the money on clubs ;)

Not saying it isn't strictly for the purpose, but if, you approached a "one man band" type shop, he could (in theory) offer you a course of 1-1 workshop. for x amount of pounds.....
you could even do a 1-1 workshop for a couple of days if he actually did that. then you could spend the rest on kit.

there must be a way, and at the end of the day, its part of a redundancy package which she is entitled to either way.
