Evening folks,

Last night i went along to my first ever car show/meet. It was at The Blue Lias in Long Itchington, Warks.

There was a bit of everything there from old skool Mk1 golfs to Ferrari's, feel free to comment on a few of my favourite shots. (there are more on flickr)

Love the lighting on the first images car!

This was just as the sun was setting. Turned out to be quite difficult to shoot into the sun, but keep the cars exposed correctly.

Any more comments? I really enjoyed this night, but would like to learn from it so any comments would be great.

Looks a nice show with some interesting machinery. Like the angle of the Bel Air shot and you've done well to get the exposure pretty much spot on in tricky conditions, nice work.

Crop the Mustang shot a bit tighter on the left, the half man is quite distracting.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll crop it and see how it looks. Regarding the exposure on the Chevvie impala, i think that was the clever D7000 which figured that one out. Plus shooting RAW helped me pull out the darks and lights in pp.
