No doubt members will all be getting one of these, but I'm posting it for info. We're losing the free EOS Mag, but I only used to flick through mine anyway.

Dear CPS Member,

I am pleased to announce the launch of the Canon EOS Professional Network. The Network will consist of EOS Professional Centres and EOS Professional Stockists. There will be 22 EOS Professional Centres which have been designed to provide the very best retail experience and offer the complete input and output digital workflow solution from Canon.

CPS members will be able to use these centres to drop-off and to collect their equipment for repair or sensor clean.

For further details please visit: www.canon.co.uk/eospro-network

With the focus this year very much on the professional market and the development of our dedicated CPN magazine, we have decided to discontinue the free subscription to EOS Magazine. CPS members will still receive a complimentary copy of the next CPN magazine, issue 2 which is due out in March 2009.

If you are still interested in receiving EOS Magazine, the publisher is offering the next issue free to CPS members. Please email cps@eos-magazine.com with the words FREE EOS MAGAZINE in the subject line or message area. You then will receive the April to June 2009 edition of EOS magazine, together with a special subscription offer.

I would like to thank you for your continued support in Canon and for choosing our professional products and services.

If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions regarding CPS, please feel free to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Frankie Jim

Gary Cyle will be peeved after driving to stoke when theres a new cps thingy in manchester now... erk

But is it only for professional photographers? or can us mere mortal amateurs use the services?

Pete

Pete, it's equipment related, go to www.canon.co.uk/cps and you'll see the requirements, eg 2x1 series bodies.

Actually, CT, I found the mag pretty good and will keep it going, I think.

Actually,re reading the requirements, I see it's 2 professional bodies and 3 L series lenses. Anyone know if the 5D is classed as a pro body?..it's certainly used by a lot!!

The 5D will qualify, as does any XXD body unless they've changed it.

I registered with a 20D, 1D Mkiin and several L series lenses. 5D is also classed as a professional body. Worth while for the perks

Peter

Yes, I agree it's worth it. Didn't realise XXD s qualified, that should open it up to quite a few. I've always used my 1Ds body and an old film 1N as I thought it was only 1's that did!
