nice and close but it looks a little out of focus to me, unlike your eye shot which is spot on.

This guy stood still for ages and let me take loads of shots.
I have just bought some extension tubes and really struggling to get the settings right (shooting free hand doesn't help either :|)
But your right, the focus is off, posted mainly for C&C :)

Your lucky it sat still for so long, I personally find shooting freehand is best for insect macro.
Meant to say that the framing of the shot is very good, the whole head shot is nice.
 
Although a little soft as Scraggs says, the framing is fine.
