Well I'm feeling a little bit cheated. I spent a miserable afternoon at Cranfield Airport with the promise of about 10 wartime aircraft and due to the weather and low cloud base only three aircraft managed to fly/turn up.
Anyway here's a few shots of those I could process to make look reasonable.
1) This is an aerobatic due consisting of an Extra 300S with a 40% RC replica that file in synch with the full size unit. I have to tell you that, having started learning to fly RC planes myself, this really takes some doing.

2) Bristol Blenheim - apparently the only one in flying condition in the world.

3) North American P51 Mustang

And now some attempts at wartime photos...
4) Bristol Blenheim

5) P51 Mustang

6) That Blenheim again...
