Crazy idea for the zoo

Tomorrow Bangor University Photography Society is heading to Chester Zoo for the day. I've been a couple of time recently and had a great time, but mainly shot at 200-300mm.

I'm thinking that because I have some decent shots from these trips rather than trying to do the same but slightly better I should stick to using my 30mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8 to see what I come up with.

Do you think this would be too restrictive and annoy me, or would it make me think about my shots more?

I once did Longleat with just a 105mm and had a great time!

Rick, you just might get something more reportage in style shooting wider so go for it. I'm going to do something similar with a motorcross venue*–*just take my 18-70 mm and see what i can get to avoid those close cropped long shots of bikes. Think I'll be going B & W too.
