Using my 100-400mm lens, which doesn't ever seem fast enough for sports :(

Hi.

I like the last one, the keeper seems more concerned than the batter .

That 100-400 is a great lens but struggles in iffy light, I think maybe a touch more sharpening might bring these out?

Thanks, they're all straight off the camera, no PP'ing bar the resize...

Look pretty good to me!

Surprised they let you take pictures with a 'big' lens at county cricket.

Yeah theres always that I suppose, but no-one said anything so I carried on.

I went to Kent V Somerset on Thursday and there were LOADS of zoom lenses there, first time ever and i never took my tripod just uses a tamron 28-300 with no VR on it and surprising what came out. I do know that i need a decent long lens and should get some nice pics.

Basically , people seem ok to take the cameras to County Games / One Day Games.

Never had a prob with camera and long lens at the Cheltenham Festival, gettting good shots are my prob!

good variety of shots tiger, cricket unlike football is a lot more relaxed, off to worcester for 1 day game v new zealand, and will agree about chelt festival.
