not a fan sorry, I am all for trying something but this looks too much for me.
 
I'd have to agree I'm afraid. It creates ghosting around the player which looks like the camera wasn't still when the shot was taken. Ideally you want good bokeh so the background isn't distracting and the eyes naturally get drawn to the action. This effect is far to distracting for me.
 
not my taste, i think Nespreco is righ the effect is to distracting.
 
i tried this on a cricket shot and nobody liked it , so i toned down the blur and everyone liked that better
 
I like them especially the first (even if I'm not Brit I love cricket), how did you do ? lens zooming or pp ?
 
Thanks all for the replies! got the blur effect through PP in CS5. I think I'll tone it down a bit abd see if that helps.....
