Ok so I have access to both a 50D and 5D MKii at the moment, if I borrow a familly members camera.
I have been out shooting some wildlife the last few days and I immediately picked up the 50D due to the longer reach.
However the 50D's noise is to my eyes much worse than the 5D Mkii's and I am wondering if it is worth using the 5D Mkii and cropping instead.
I know from usage that the 5D is a fair bit more sluggish than the 50D but if I were to use the 5D center point and sacrifice the FPS, is it logicial to think I will get pictures with better IQ?
I do have to end up using relatively high ISO to get the shutter speed high enough and simply find the noise from the 50D unacceptable at times.
I have read a bit about crop vs full frame for wildlife, but in this particular instance between the 50D and the 5D mkii which would you recommend?
Any advice is appreciated!
