Spider taken outside tonight (very cold in the garden). I think it's Araneus diadematus.
This was taken on a Canon EOS 70D with my LAOWA Venus 2:1 macro lens, with a Youngnuo ringflash head attached to the body of the RF unit. The lights are covered by packaging foam and the plastic from a milk bottle - and then across the front is a sheet of Vellum tracing paper 150gsm to soften and spread some of the light. Settings: f/11, 1/250sec, ISO 100.
