Yes
Today i was using my crumpler half photo bag as i do every day for college when someone told me that the zip on the camera compartment was open, so i went to zip it up and it was already zipped up the zip had opened without being unzipped (think that makes sense) the zip has bust open

so its a good job that i was told as my D800 would of fallen out if i wasn't !!

so my question is how do i go about getting it replaced or repaired as its less than a year old still?

:help:

Crumpler bags have a 30 year guarantee so shouldn't be a problem. Contact the London store via the website. However as Simon says, if you didn't buy it directly from crumpler then the onus is on the original retailer for the first year.

As above

Contact Crumpler and they should resolve it for you.
Not sure if it's still there, but there was a store in Manchester and they were extremely helpful for a friend of mine ...

I've been less than impressed with crumpler. Get a refund and buy another brand!:)

This is another brand to watch out for fakes on the likes of Amazon(resellers) and Ebay.

I've got a 7 million dollar home and love mine, I'd like to get another but can't find them in the UK.

Might have been a fake, I have used and currently own several Crumplers along with Tamracs, Katas and Lowepros and the Crumplers are absolutely superb. Beautifully made, very trendy and really tough as old boots.

it was bought on amazon so ill contact them now and see what they say

If it was from amazon themselves (and not a reseller) you should have no problems - Amazon are normally very good for returned items.

If it's a reseller, it might be more tricky (shouldn't be, but some retailers seem to think trading laws are optional). Give them a go, but if you're getting no joy, get on to Crumpler directly.

A zip should last more than a year, so unless you've really abused your bag it clearly wasn't fit for purpose and your rights are protected by law. don't get fobbed off! :bat:

I have found Amazon brilliant with returns, had a fault on head phones which were 5 months old. emailed Amazon in am, got a reply within a couple of hours telling me new set would be delivered next day(which they were) and I should return faulty set via collect+ postage paid by Amazon. Had to return faulty set within 30? days or would be charged.
