Looking for a new bag for those days when I don't want to carry a rucsack, this one has really caught my attention as it looks ideal but I have a few questions that I as hoping someone might be able to clear up for me!

Firstly will it fit a full height flash in it vertically the external measurment looks good but the internal looks a little short?

Secondly do you think that I could squeeze in the following:
5dmkii with Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 attached
Canon EF 50mm f1.4
Canon EF 85mm f1.8
Sigma EF530DG super flash gun

Any help much appreciated!
 
I have lots of crumplers and the quality and style are the best (Very tough) but looking at what you are needing fitted and given that Crumplers quoted sizes tend to be very exact i.e. no room for movement I would suggest another £10 for the 5500 and allow for comfort.

Thanks, it's always the size I struggle with when looking for bags and it's next to impossible to find a shop with a decent selection let alone a realistic price!

Would still appreciate anyone who has one letting me know if they can fit a decent sized flash gun in vertically?
 
Just incase anyone else is ever searching for information about this bag I now have one so can answer my own questions!

1. Yes you can pit a flash vertically it is a bit of a squease for my Sigma 530DG Super the bag closes but you can see where the hot shoe is puching up against the bag.

2. I couldn't get all my kit in as hoped, ie camera in the middle, primes to one side and flash the other allthough I'm sure you could with a smaller body like the xxxd series. I can get my 50mm and 85mm one on top of the other with the camera in the middle and room for a small flash like the 270ex the other side. It is also possible to close the bag with the sigma flash lying accross the top of the camera body.

I have decided to keep the bag as I don't often carry a full sized flash and the bag will allow me to when I need even if lying it ontop is not ideal. The quality is great and it doesn't look like a typical camera bag so it is now my light weight kit bag.

4000 I didn't like the design of the 5500 it looses the fold over top with the quick velcro close.
 
Yes thats an odd one because the 5500 is designed more for wearing on your waist as well as shoulder. Yet the 7500 goes back to the flap over design.

My thoughts entirely I can't understand why the 5500 is an 80's style bum bag! Still smaller bag will force me to take less stuff!

Have been looking for one a bit larger than my current Tamrac Rally 5 and found this Jackpack very interesting!

Did order the larger 7000 though, and it should arrive in a couple of days... £57.
