Crumpler shoulder bags capacity

Folks, I need help. I want a shoulder bag and despite them looking like a students bag, I like the Crumplers. I tried one at Calumet last week, a really nice limited edition leather jobbie and couldn't fit a gripped D700 with 24-70 and 70-200 in there. I thought that was a bit rubbish. Basically I want something that will take the above, plus flash, cards and possibly a couple more smaller lenses (14-24 and maybe a 50mm prime) Anyone got any experience??

I did a review of the New delhi 620 in the reviews section. I could have got away with the 510 but I would have no room for anything else in there.

depending on where you are take your kit to a crumpler shop, one is opening in Manchester soon and there are 2 in London. They didn't mind me trying out a bunch of bags for the best fit and walking out without buying.

To be honest the internal size of Crumplers was the reason I sold my long schlong and they are so well padded the bag appeared massive on the outside but couldn't really fit a gripped 350D in it comfortably unless I stopped carrying my 70-200mm. They are really nice bags however and I was was gutted when I had to sell it and use a Nova 4 instead. eventually I ended up making my own Messenger style bag out of a Converse bag with crumpler padding in it.
