Hi all,

Found these crystals in a charity shop the other day i thought they would make great subjects to photograph, the thing is i'm struggling for ideas.

What you think?

The small crystal using the red foil and torch again. Red Kryptonite.

Do you have a macro lens, or can you get any closer to the crystals? Try to fill the whole frame with crystal.

Agree with Daniel real close up detail would be a nice idea as see if you can do any light painting to try and really make them glow

Thanks guys, i don't have a macro lens, what would i be looking at price wise for one? Are those macro filters any good?

Look at some cheap macro extension tubes these can be had for less than a tenner on ebay and especially on static stuff like this can be brilliant
