Cs4 weird problem.

quite a weird one imo (could be simple fix) but when ever i right click and click open with cs4 then none of my filters appear in the filter section but if i open it properly (double click the icon on the desktop) then the filters are there

anyone have a clue whats wrong?

not at my home computer to actually see how its set up at the moment.

Are you running a 64bit version of Windows?

errm i think so yeah the 64bit version of windows 7

Then you probably have 2 versions of CS4 installed (32bit & 64bit) and the filters will only be installed on one version. Your shortcut is pointing to one version and the right click menu is pointing to a different version

Make sure the filters are installed in

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit) (for the 64bit version)

and

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (for the 32 bit version)

Also be aware that most filters and plugins will only work in the 32bit version, if you try and add them to the 64bit version they will not show when you open CS4 up.
