Fter some info on these guys please. People rave about lightroom, whats the difference between the 2????

Lightroom is specifically for processing and organising photos, whereas Photoshop is a full painting and image manipulation suite. Lightroom can't really do anything that isn't possible in Photoshop, but it is quicker to use and requires less technical knowledge and skill, generally speaking.

Not necessarily.
Without wanting to sound arrogant, I'm an expert Photoshop user (more than fifteen years using it, have written books/countless articles about it, am on their beta team, etc so I can do pretty much anything I want in it) and yet I use Aperture (similar to Lightroom) far more for my photos than Photoshop, simply because I find that Aperture, together with the suite of Nik Software plugins I bought last year, gets the job done with less hassle. I occasionally jump to Photoshop for some tweaks but Aperture does the job 99% of the time.
Furthermore, apps like Lightroom and Aperture are much nicer for organising your photo library than Photoshop's bridge.
I guess ideally one should own both Photoshop and an app like Lightroom/Aperture, but that's a pretty big financial investment. You may want to consider Photoshop Elements if you're not a Photoshop power user.

do you have skype by chance, i think you could benifit me and possibly help me setting up, i have lightroom v 3 sat hear that i brough but have NO Clue how to use it atall. left would be greatly apprecieated if you wouldnt mind helping.
