Our first one of the season and to be honest - Hell of a weekend – got drowned then sunburnt on Saturday (think webbed feet and sunburnt head lol) and actually blown over on several occasions on Sunday, put the 300mm on tried to lift it up, gave up trying to hold onto it / gave up and went back to the 70-200, even that was a struggle. Must have tried a million and one settings on the new body and ‘think’ that by the end of the weekend I found a few that worked. To say I took a few too many would be an understatement but hey - variety is the spice of life and all that.
So - 1DX, 70-200mkII with the 1.4 mkIII extender, hand held as per the norm.
#1 1/250, f/5.6, iso 100, 280mm a little 'damp' - it was actually drying up by now
#2 1/250, f/6.3, iso 100, 180mm then after lunch it was dry as a bone and flat out
#3 1/250, f/8, iso 100, 155mm Sunday we had a fire breathing 1965 Austin Healey 3ltr mkIII
#4 1/500, f/6.3, iso 100, 280mm Over the hill - I don't think so!
#5 1/320, f/5.6, iso 100, 280mm Anglia 'Trike' - give it all or go home!!!
#6 1/250, f/5.6, iso 100, 98mm Had to finish with a full grid of 'silliness' bonkers the lot of em!!!
If you get 'really' bored the rest are: in HERE
Thanks for looking
