We did see a lot I bands to!! The bueno vista social club wasn't on while we were there and we never managed the club tropicana! Would I go back hmmmmmm................. I would, but most would disagree with me here but I feel as though they need to lift the embargo with the U.S. they are in dire need of a cash injection and maybe a small bit of commercialisation. The Dominican has done it quite successfully.

they like canadian dollars, but not u.s., canada is helping them with their development of natural resources..as i was told
i cant remember the currency i used but was forbidden to use the local peso or go into the local stores...the prices are so low that we could buy stuff and clear out the stock at the peril of the lower paid cubans.

i flew cubana air which has the worst air accident record in the world and over books up to 20% on each flight...we had to leave 4 people behind in the uk but we all got on coming back
havana airport is HELL!!!!!

Yes they love the Canadians! We weren't forbidden from using the national peso it's just that everything was priced in CUC. I do have a slight issue with the 2 currency thing tbh but I do see their point!!
