I went back and got some shots of the Cuckoo Flowers without my dog Tyler as hes determined to ruin my shots, its amazing the variations in colours, some strong and vivid some pastel like, C+C Welcome

Prefer the first one Dave some nice detail and really delicate colours to it.
Like the idea of the second one but think there is a wee bit of movement in the flower head. It's just not got the detail and feel of the first one for me.

#1 for me has nice lighting, composition and colour overall a nice shot, sadly #2 looks blurred

Number 1 is a fantastic shot the sort you could have on your wall, number 2 I agree with the comments so far in that it's a tad soft.

Thanks very much Tom and Mark yeah i know the 2nd is soft but I love backlit stuff so just had to put it on
