Yes
What would you sell with a camera.... (Mine is a Nikon D700 & Nikon MB-D10)

So, would you sell as it came - with box, manual, original strap etc (the usual accessories that came with it)

or

would you inc the additional bits an bobs or sell them seperately

Mine has the Nikon DK-19/DK-17m eyepiece, Nikon AH-4 handstrap so about £100 worth... (all genuine)

Also the same goes with the grip - Nikon MB-D10 and the 2 trays, case etc or would you also include a Nikon BL-3, 2x EN-EL4a batteries, Nikon MH-21 charger (all genuine Nikon)

or

sell them seperately as not everyone wants 8fs or do they... (thought I did at 1st then now I dont)...

Same also goes with a lens - with or without the CPL/filters (b+w 77mm & Nikon NC 77mm)

Curious to know people's thoughts really....

Sell the camera body with the things it came with (minus the lens, unless you want rid of it too or are changing lens mounts) and the other stuff individually. Same for lenses.
If you group things together you limit yourself to buyers who want the body and the grip and the eyepiece, plus chances are most of those people have got one or more of the individual items already.

I would list the camera and grip with separate prices, but offer the camera purchaser both at a small discount

Would also add a proviso that I wouldn't split until the camera had sold in case the buyer wanted both

Not sure with the eyepiece and strap, worth a try selling them at the same time, but they are the sort of thing that would probably end up being sold on their own or thrown in very cheap to clinch the sale at a good price

Lens and plain filter often sell together also lots of people like to see one as it assures them of the extra care taken

CPL would definitely be sold on its own, in fact I know someone who might well be interested ;)

Yeh, list em separate. If a buyer wants the lot, let them make an offer, or you state a price for the lot in the listing.

Seems to be seperately is the answer (which I thought it would be)..

Then again you always get someone that would've wanted the extra's with either but were slightly late .... (usually happens to me )

Rich - I may be selling either one of two B+W CPL's but not sure which one as one is the MRC version (which when I got it I was told that there was a knack of attaching it - fits easy on one of my lenses and its a bit fiddly to attach it to the other - which I was told about before getting it)

But then again do I really need 2 of them... As I dont take both lenses out with me - its either one lens or the other...

If I do think of selling one then I will ask you to whom you know is interested in it but obviously I cant sell it in this thread :p

Sell what came in the box as a 'job-lot' and the 'extras' as ... well extras :)
^^ this^^

It might be worth listing the 'job-lot' but also listing the extras as 'negotiable'.

I sold a 350D with kit lens, the box and all the bits that came with it to someone I knew (and it was a starter-kit - so they had no other gear). I had some other odds & sods that would be no good to me but all useful to the purchaser - an extra battery & charger, a screw-on CPL, a couple of 2GB CF cards that I'd never use, a cable release and a small LowePro toploader that wouldn't fit my 50D with my current lenses (but I already had a larger toploader that does) - so I didn't see the point in splitting them. I sold them all as one lot, decided a price and refused to negotiate (imho, it was a very reasonable price anyway).

When I sold my 7D and 5D2 recently I included the grip with the sale and of course increased the price accordingly. I would of split if someone had just wanted the grip, but everything I put up for sale sold within 24 hours. I got less than I advertised them at, but it was more than I'd been offered by a dealer anyway and I got enough altogether to buy a new 5D3 without having to put any money towards it. Everything was boxed and in as new condition, but I didn't include any cards, filters etc in the sale.

If I do think of selling one then I will ask you to whom you know is interested in it but obviously I cant sell it in this thread

That would be most pleasant Steve and I would be the last person to condone anyone selling other than in the appropriate place

Cheers
