The TP52 - 2026 Cuthbert's 52 for 2026

I don’t understand what the image is just saying.

we see religious architecture as a monuments from man to reach the divine. This image is suggesting that these monuments are actually built to worship our own creation.

I do like the image a lot Mark, but interpreting it as you've described is a bit too deep for me (shallow mind )

Fabulous image! Does it shout 'monument' - no - but it's a lovely photo.

Love the shot and the title! My throne would be a bit whiter and probably made of porcelain :p

That's great ;)

Nice that :)

Nice shot Mark, very interesting, I still cant figure it out.

Likey very much ;)

Thank you everyone!

@nog - when I took it, the national trust volunteer said that I was one of the very people he'd seen who was actually prepared to stand directly under it because of that programme!

Some really strong images here - unexpected perspective works perfectly, contrasts in colour is beautiful image and I love the subtle tones on geometry.

I really like the divided frame with the light coming from opposite corners. That works great.

Contrasts, great colour shades in the sky with the star and the light on the house works well. Like the contrast between the curved wall and the steps on geometry
