Love the water droplets. How did you get that colour? some dye or all in post? Is it some kind of oil and water mix?

Love the water droplets. How did you get that colour? some dye or all in post? Is it some kind of oil and water mix?

It was a mix of baby oil, water, washing up liquid, full fat milk, glycerol and acrylic paint. It took a lot of trial and error to get the effect, gently shaking, stirring, even blowing it with a straw. I'm going to have a bit more of an experiment over Christmas when I've got some days off - I did them for the monthly digital photographer of the year, got some really interesting results... will get some more colours next time.

The colours are real, but I boosted the saturation and messed around to enhance them in post.
