Week 15 Posted
I've been deliberating this for a couple of weeks now... Should I or shouldn't I?
I tried the 52 back in 2010 and made it about 20 weeks in I think before burning out. For me, shooting a different topic every week was too much, and I ended up taking a picture of anything just to get it done that week. It ended up being "not fun".
So this year, I'm not following the themes. What I am going to challenge myself with though, is to get one photo a week that I'm happy with based on locations I can get to in my lunch hour on my push bike. That way I also get some exercise too! My rules are:
- All images to be taken within a 30min cycling distance of my house.
- All images to be taken with a 24mm prime (38mm on my crop body)
- No left/right side crops - just top & bottom (All images to be used as screensavers when I'm done!)
So with the first day of non-rain of the year, off I went exploring.

I may revisit this shot as it looks a bit washed out on this screen. Lesson to learn: Reset my custom function settings on the camera. It was annoying to have to keep resetting ISO, Aperture and shutter speed every time I turned the camera on.
Thanks for reading and viewing. Need to have a look at some other 52s now!
Ian.
