D200 cleaning needed ?

Guys,

I've got my camera and lenses onboard the ship where I work. We have positive pressure A/C, and somehow there dust and "hair" particles appearing in my view finder and photos ?
My lens had not been removed before I noticed these ??

My question is, where can I send my camera body for safe cleaning. I've tried Nikon website but cannot get past their questions page.
I live in the North East, nyone know of a local dealer there, or a reputable national one.
It wont be going until my return in mid May.

i'd just take the lens off and give the focusing screen and sensor a quick going over with a rocket blower. i'm not entirely sure how some of these things end up in our cameras but it happens to us all from time to time!

you've got nothing to lose with the rocket blower method, - it might do the job - as long as nothing is sticky and gooey and welded on then it will probably be all it will need.

Found one on amazon for £8.
We have aerosol air cannisters on here but too scared incase I make things any worse.

Certainly give one of them a try.

yeah, don't go near the innards of your camera with canned air, the propellant is very sticky and horrible. with just normal dust and fibre a rocket blower will clean your camera up a treat, probably saving you the best part of 50 quid for a professional clean.
