Hi all,

My D200 is quite slow when going round the menu system and I wondered if there was anything I can do to speed it up. If it was a laptop I would rebuild it.

Its not too bad when you are actually in there, but from pressing menu there is probably a 1-2 second delay. Doesn't seem like long, but it is when you are trying to get in there.

Is there any way to reinstall the firmware or is this just a problem with an older camera?

I looked at doing this before but it wouldn't work. It's working now, so hopefully this will sort the menu system out.
 
Yeah, that's fixed it.

Don't know what was going on, but it's nice and quick now.
