D300 Battery grip

Meike is the third party grip which is recommend by many nikon users.

Either use the nikon grip or the meike grip.
 
Been using the Meike grip on a D700 (same one that fit d300) for 2 years or so. Never had an issue with it. Is very well built, and feels very similar to the Nikon version. Mine also came with a BL-3 for free, that Nikon try to charge an extra £30 for.
 
Worth getting the Nikon D300 grip MB-D10 and upgrade (Bl-3 end cap to take the EN-EL4a battery). it really does improve FPS to 7/8 FPS and longer battery life

Ooh, that sounds expensive. :eek: ;)

Think I'll stick with my Meike copy and rechargeable batteries for the number of times I use it throughout a year. ;) Never had a problem with the grip in the 3-4 years I've had it. :thumbs: It hasn't really been pushed to extremes though. ;)

Even if I was using it all the time though, I would still get a copy grip, because the Nikon grip's price is so overpriced for what they are and do. But I may get the EN-EL4a battery if I was using the grip all the time, and all day.
 
I've bought a BL-3 cover last year and never even use it yet ........ this is because the EN-EL4 battery and charger cost so much .......

I guess the cover works for third party EN-EL4 battery?
 
I have just brought my second MB-D10 used from MPB Photographic, both boxed with all the bits, look like new. Cost of £79 each, with warranties, I wouldn't bother with copies.
