D300 bracketing

Thought I'd try a bit of HDR and, after reading the manual have managed to sort out the bracketing aspect. However, I'm not sure of the best way to take the 3/5/7 shots. Is there a way of setting the self timer so that the shots fire one after the other automatically or do you have to take each shot manually? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Put it in CL and just keep your finger down on the shutter release, it will only rattle off the 3, 5 or 7 shots you set.

Yup

But it will actually shoot up to 9 images and up to 1 stop apart too - so even the brightest/most contrasty days can be accounted for

Or shoot raw, then just use 1 shot and set the exposure in Adobe Camera raw (if you have it!)
