Not sure about the D300, but as the D700 can only control 2 groups, I doubt whether the D300 could do 3.
I think the only way to control 3 is to use the Su-800 commander.

Ok, thanks guys - I guess a SU-800 will be cheaper anyway!
An SB-800 would probably work out even cheaper

Na, it's not... £195 for the SU-800 from Onestop... if I wanted to run back and forward I'd have kept the Skyports...
