Ok just asking for a bit of advice regarding

which cable remote works best for the D300

seems to be loads out there but prefer to ask here first

Nikon charge an arm and a leg for the MC-36 :(

thanks all

Flash in the Pan sells them,PM him.....

I bought a Phottix Cleon wireless remote for my D300 off ebay which I was very happy with. It worked both wired and wireless. :)

I recently got the Phottix Plato remote which is the new top of the range remote from Phottix, but I haven't been able to use it properly yet.

why not try the ML remote button? it's about £20 (£15 if you haggle) from jessops, and works at 12ft (4 metres) at the very least. No cables, no nothing - just a little button (which can be a pain in itself, as if you put it somewhere 'safe'......)

doesn't work with the D300.

Yongnu MC-36b off ebay for about £25. Absolutely fantastic clear screen and easy to use the functions like timer interval - number of shots- timer set etc etc
It does exactly the same as the Nikon one but a fraction of the price. this is what I have and can recommend. If there was a drawback there is no off switch so battery removal not a bad thing actually

AND IT WORKS WITH THE D300 other just push button ones don't seem to
