D300 Tonight

Finally managed to win a D300 on Fleabay with approx 8000 actuations and go to pick it up tonight to give it the once over.......dont trust Royal Mail to deliver it safe and secure at all......

Need to remember to take a couple of lenses to test it out.......anybody got any preferences when testing....ie type etc

PS this is now going to become my main body and d80 to become backup ......and if anybody knows of anyone selling a legitimate MB-D10 let me know

You will find the metering a huge improvement.

You will have fun with all the menu settings.

If possible take a loupe with you to inspect the sensor for dust/dirt. Although the D30 has self clean last night Ii checked mine and it had a very subborn dirt spot on it which the camera hadn't got rid of. Luckily I am able to do my own sensor cleaning but it costs to have it professionaly cleaned.
