Yes
Getting a D300s as a second camera (& getting rid of the S5 Pro), mainly to give me wireless capability at event work.

Before I take the plunge, any thoughts from others using eye-fi cards Particularly keen to know any cons / known issues before I commit.

Looking to hear from people who use them.... (they are compatible btw)

So guessing that means either (a) no issues, or (b) nobody here using the eye-fi products :D

Or nobody has a D300s :gag:

I've just ordered one to see if it will work on a Samsung GX-20
It's not supposed to but I have to try

Got the 4GB Home version today, works great on the Samsung GX-20
(Pentax K20D twin) and Pentax *istDS. Made me realize that my
monitor needs re-calibrating so I'll have to get out the Huey and
download the Argyll software this afternoon.

Glad to hear it's working well shimbo. Unfortunately, I need to but the pro version for the ad hoc connection. Still have a couple of weeks before I need it, but going to order at the weekend to give myself time to practice. Out of curiosity, where did you buy it (in case you've found a cheap supplier).

I played safe and went with Amazon £49.99 used their free trial next day delivery, which I'm going to cancel before they charge me for the year and it was off Amazon themselves not one if their dodgy subbies. Ordered a Patriot Memory SD USB Card Reader off one of them last week and they sent me a crappy Chinese unbranded copy.... so I sent it back. Same problem with Toshiba SD cards that weren't Toshiba. :cuckoo:

I gave up with ebay for the Eye-Fi one trader wanted £79 for the one I got off Amazon.

Try thefind for prices.

Make sure you put the card's MAC code in your router if it's set to restrict access by MAC codes. The software actually tells you that if it can't connect, but it's better to know beforehand so that you can sort out the login to the router.
