D300s eyepiece/viewfinder

Is it possible to get larger eyepieces for cameras? Recently I've realised that I'm finding it hard to see everything through the viewfinder (the full image and info along the bottom) and find myself having to physically move to take it all in. Does that make sense? I don't know. The D700 viewfinder looks better to me.

Does anyone else struggle with this sort of thing?

Perhaps that would help.

I use a magnifying eyepiece on my D700 but not on my D300s and rubber eyecups on both to exclude light.
Have you got the diopter adjustment right?

thanks mate, I'll check that out. I'll also make sure the diopter is set correctly.

It just seems like I'm losing the edges and really have to get my eye right in there to view the full image and info along the bottom

I think that is about normal.
