d300s Set Up Menu??

I believe! I have my D300s set up to clean sensor on start up and shut down, however all I have showing on the menu listing is two hyphens side by side even though I have OK'd the function on the menu. Is this correct? I would have thought that the icon for this fuction would be showing.

Just looked at it onmy D700 & it does the same - shows "--" ... As long as you actually pressed the "ok" button then it will be saved to what seeting you want..

Also when you go back into that menu does it take you to "start up & shut down" setting again...
