D3200 with good lens

Hi all

D3200 with good lens any good for studio work I take lots of pics of small dogs and do a lot of cropping

I've not got one (yet). But I imagine it is perfect for the studio where you control the lighting - the 24 megapixels will give you plenty to crop.

If you are on a budget and want a budget camera then the D3200 comes highly recommended.

Question though, if you are shooting in a studio why are you doing a lot of cropping? Surely you have enough control to be able to get the composition pretty much right in camera with minimal cropping.

Thanks for the replies Rob I need to crop small chihuahua pups that do not sit for a second I take pics at dog behaviour centre the dogs don't behave so shoot wide to get them in
