It is starting to annoy me to go into the menu a lot for changing settings/ISO/ Flash exposure etc. I would also like the Auto exposure Bracketing button.

Also maybe thinking of the future when i want non DX lenses. So far i have the 35mm and 18-200 Afs Dx

I am not fussed about HD video.

Not too worried about pre owned either.

I reckon i will stivk with Nikon. What are my options for upgrading? I dont want to spend too much. I dont really have a budget as such. AS long as it is a step up. But after this i dont want to upgrade for ages. I wont ever be a pro.

Im thinking 2nd hand D90?

2nd hand D90
i think there will be some selling soon as people upgrade to the D7000
 
D200 and D300 are they older than the D90 and do they have live view

D300 and D90 are the same generation and the D300 has live view. Having owned a D200 and D300 the D200 is as good as the D300 as long as you don't go over 640 ISO and don't need the extra features (chiefly the live view).

Effectively the D300 is a pro body D90 really !
 
What about a Canon 550d?
I only have a 35mm afs dx and 18-200mm.

I can't find anything definitive online; has it been released yet, as everywhere seems to have it "despatched in x weeks."
