AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhh:nuts:
Rant alert.
So I have spent half the night trying to figure out how the built-in Intervalometer works inside my d5000. You would thought it would be straightforward but no
What I was trying to do was take 30 exposures at 30 each but it was taking 4 or 5 shots then stopping.
The menu allows you to set the interval times and I thought this was intervals between shots but no its the interval between pressing the shutter so if your shutter speed is 30 you need to set the interval for anything above that
Setting the interval to 35 would give five seconds gap between shots with a shutter speed at 30
This makes sense now but it just seems backwards why call it an interval if its not an interval (but it is an interval, just not one between shots)
It have been worded different on the menu, I really wish I bothered to read that bit of the manual now
I feel slightly better now
:bonk:
