D60 Scratched screen

Hi all, my dad has scuffed the screen cover on the back LCD of his D60. I have found the replacement part in the USA but am looking to buy one in the UK if possible.

He has been quoted £70 to replace it by sending it off and they reckon it may take up to 4 weeks!!

Also, does anyone know how easy it is to replace these? If its simple enough, I will do it for him...

I'm no expert and don't own a Nikon, but that looks to me like you peel off the backing and stick it on.

Carefully prise the old one off, clean any residue from around the aperture, fit the new one (available from spareparts@nikon.co.uk). Job done.
