D700 - Book

Just bought a D700 and the manual is not great. Anyone recommend a thorough, practical guide?

The Magic Lantern Guide to the D700 is a pretty good addition to the manual. Covers much of the same ground but in easier to understand terms, as well as explaining some things and with plenty of added hints and tips.
