A good friend gifted me his D700 which took a tumble. The entire rear panel sort of came off. The LCD works fine as I did a swap test with my D90. The D90 LCD goes haywire in the D700, but the D700's LCD works in the D90.
The D700 top LCD works, autofocus works, takes pictures, and transfers to the PC no problem. I just get the following screen which seems to respond differently when I press the "Menu" and "Info" buttons (something flicks, a few of the lines change, etc).
Anyone has a bit more experience in this area and where to start looking or what to be replacing?
