D700 remote release.

Hi,
I need some help really, I'm going away today to cornwall and want to use my 10 stop filter but I have just broke my cable release. Can I pick up one any where that don't cost a bomb like £129 from Jessops, or have any tips on how to use bulb mode without making the camera shake?

if you dont mind using 3rd party release, try the Yongnuo cable release which is very cheap and does the job.I have used it and it has been good for the last 2years

Meike also do a cable release - about 5.00 delivered (UK source) from the bay.

I use a hahnel remote release, can't remember where i got it from, but it was about £25 if memory serves me correctly. Couldn't justify the price of the nikon one for the amount of use it gets, and i've never had any problems with it.

Delivery estimate is 11-23 days from Hong Kong - So how did you manage to get yours from them the next day :shrug:
