One of my D700's is acting somewhat stragely lately ... not sure if its a setting problem or a fault ... not had much time to look at it ..
Lately when im in manual mode in the studio all the settings i use stay fine during the shoot except for the shutter speed. If i set it to 160 or 200 when i take a shot wirelessly via the hot shoe the cameras shutter speed changes by itself ... sometimes up sometimes down. Everything else stays as set. Tis very annoying as i have to reset the shutter speed for every shot to get it back to 160. Im not touching any part of the camera when this happens as i thought i might be hitting something with my fingers .. ive also tried it withought the wireless release attached and still does it ..
any quick ideas what it could be before before i delve deeper and flash the camera with the latest settings ..
