I have noticed that if I do shots that show a sea horizon, that the shots more often seem to have a slight left slant.
I have recently started using the viewfinder gridlines (they can be activated via the menu settings) and I'm getting much more consistent results, but I have noticed that if I use the horizon tool in capture NX2 it gives a 0.3 degree shift on average.
I have just assumed that it was user error, but there seems to be a definite consistency to the tilt. Presumably Nikon must check viewfinder alignment as part of the QC process?
