D7000 Exposure Delay

Hi folks

I'm a bit of a newbie. I have a D7000 and was trying to do some astrophotography (with tracking mount). I set Exposure Delay to calm down any shake. Is there any way to lengthen the one second?

Or is there another technique I should be using?

Not looked to be honest, although from memory the delay is 2 secs, not 1.
What you could do though is to set it to remote with mirror up, so the first press locks up the mirror, then you can wait as long as you like before the 2nd press which fires the shutter.
Preferably using a remote too.
