D7000 weather proof limits

I'd like to take some pics in the snow (while it is coming down) i know the d7000 isn't a fully sealed body, but just wondered how much it can actually take weather wise! Thanks :)

In the circumstances I wouldn't have any worries about a short time in snow, especially if wiping it off regularly. However it's easy to cover it with a plastic carry-bag or something if you are concerned.

A few months back I had an accident, slipping on some rocks. My D7000 had a dunk in the sea. Other than the battery cover snapping off, no damage. It was only a couple of inches of water, but it definatly went in and the cover snapped off due to the impact with the sea covered rocks. To say I was impressed is an understatement.
 
I was out in a blizzard in the alps - no probs found
