Just having a look at the price of a genuine MB-D16 (£229.00) for when i'm in a position to purchase and it would appear they are out of stock everywhere i've looked !
Jessops don't even list one.
Digital Rev have stock but more expensive by a Tenner + p&p

Good job i don't want one quick smart

Don't mention aftermarket as i don't pitch my tent in that field ;) fanks....

I hope there not experiancing issues with the grip :runaway:

Nikon grips are over priced nonsense, go aftermarket and save your self a fortune.

I know you did not want to hear that, but it really annoys me that people only buy OEM stuff, do you really think that Nikon make batteries, grips, remotes?

No, they buy them in cheap, stick a Nikon label on and put %? on the cost.

Mathers list the MB-D16 at £185 inc delivery, can't tell if they have it in stock though. If you open the Delivery drop down their website suggests available in 3 days.

There's always someone  You spend your money on what you want but please don't try and lecture me on the who makes what where and how i should spend mine !

It's this sort of reply that really annoys me! What part of "Don't mention aftermarket as i don't pitch my tent in that field ;) fanks...." didn't you comprehend ???????

Using multiple question marks shows a distinct lack of intelligence. One question mark means exactly the same as a multitude and using more than one is grammatically incorrect.

Go buy a Nikon grip, it is your money to waste as you seem fit.

I wasn't going to but hey i can't help myself

Google result as i aint clever "Multiple exclamation points and question marks risk giving the perception that you are sarcastic and condescending." Not how i meant that to come over OR was it ????

Not being clever as already mentioned but i am sure this should read "Go buy a Nikon grip, it is your money to waste as you see fit." And of course you are as always correct and i thank you for permission to do as i intend ;)

And back on topic.
I had a phone call from Mathers Monday after they had contacted Nikon to be told the MB-D16 is on back order for 4-6 weeks, Wonder why ?? Opps ? Daft ol b****r !! Opps !
