I normally use a D700 for my work and have a D800 as back up. The D700 is in for repair at the moment and I am having to use the D800 all the time.
I am having real problems with the D800's TTL flash power consistency. The D700 has always been totally constant once tweaked for a particular scene all the TTL flash shots are basically the same.
The flash power on the D800 appears very inconsistent, a few shots will be fine and then one will be completely blown out, shutter speed and exposure unchanged. The camera is fine without flash or with off camera flash and I have tried a selection of flash guns.
Has anyone else had this problem.
