I have 2 Nikon D800s. Had them for years and all was fine. Then couple of years ago I noticed nothing was sharp at the 70mm end of my sigma 70-200 f2.8 below f5.6. so I got rid of the lens and got a used Nikon 70-200 f2.8.
All seemed fine. Then I lost my photography job 18 months ago. And with lockdown didn't do anything.
Just started getting back into it, just small projects for myself.
I have noticed that I can't get any sharp images at the wide end of any lens. 24-70 blurry at 24mm end sharp at 70mm end. Nikon 70-200 blurry at 70mm end sharp at 200mm end.
It's the same on both bodies. What has happened? I have no idea. Can't see both bodies and both lenses developing a fault!
Tried calibrating with the af fine tune.
No luck.
Totally stumped.
