Looked at the Nikon page for the changes and did not see anything that currently affects me.

Sounds sensible. I was surprised to see this;

"File numbers were not assigned in the proper sequence."

...not something I've encountered - seems to increment logically from my experience (as this is how I'd got it set).

I too have encountered this 'issue' on occasion!

I thought I saw something originally about the next update having histogram improvements (something do with it relating to the RAW file rather than JPG) - can't recall if this was related to the "I am Advancing" info earlier this year... or I may have imagined it
