Having recently got hold of a D90 could anybody recommend me the best user guide book to enable me to get the best out of it.

thom hogans complete guide to the nikon d90,or the nikon d90 companion,by ben long,tutorials on here and utube.
 
Personally, I have bought Thom Hogans guide, but Simon Stafford's guide is well received as well.

And snap on both Nikon bodies as well Jon, good choice! :)

I did two pages per page I had to buy a wheelbarrow to get it out the building :lol:
 
Thoam hogan is a good educationa and adds reasoning so you learn from his experience and guidance. Ken Rockwell tells you to mmake a setting as his is the only way to do things.
Thoms site is well worth looking at for glass reviews and the like :)
 
Ken's works for me - small donation well worth the price of entry!!
 
Ken's style is bit different from Thom. I think you can look at it from two perspectives, Thom is a professional where as to me Ken is more like a keen enthusiast and those who are starting up might find Kens advice enough to get them started.
